See it in action:

Data Logging, Graphing and Marking

With many meters, seeing a reading show up an investigation is helpful but, at times, can beg more questions. What if you could see every sampling of all environmental readings on one timeline?

With Solus, multiple sensors are used and shown on a timeline graph including electromagnetic readings (EMF), temperature and motion. This makes it easy to track shifts over time and identify patterns that may indicate paranormal presence. This new paranormal investigation tool takes the readings of the Solus sensors and displays them on a live color graph display.

Beyond the live display, Solus also records every reading to a memory card. This can be scrolled through on the device, uploaded to our online "Ghost Logger" graphing web site or open the file in any spreadsheet and graphing app of your choice. All with one brilliant investigation tool at your side.

Effortless Recording, Anytime

Solus simplifies data capture - just insert an SD card, power up, and begin your investigation. Solus continuously records without the need to start or stop, making it one of the most convenient tools for capturing uninterrupted paranormal data. Just turn it on and go!

Spike Flags for special review.

Solus highlights significant spikes with automatic “Spike Flags” that can be customized to your sensitivity preferences. If you want to mark a specific moment, tap the screen, and Solus will flag it for future review. Each flag will be reflected in the timeline and recorded for a seamless investigation experience.

Solus Computer and Web Site Display

Solus automatically marks spikes from the environmental sensors for your review. During your investigation, Solus will review your data live and determine if a change in the environment indicates something you should review and flag it for you. The timeline will be marked, a light will illuminate and an audio tone will alert you to this trigger. Beyond that, you can even adjust the sensitivity by which it determines a flag.

Want to mark a moment yourself? You got it! Just press the Flag icon on the screen. Additionally, the recorded log will mark that moment on the data for later review. This gives you the opportunity to mark a certain point in the data yourself for special review.

Ghost Logger: Review results on your computer.

Our free online Ghost Logger makes it easy to upload, view, and analyze Solus’s data logs on your computer. Ghost Logger graphs all uploaded data, allowing you to review every moment of your investigation. You can also use any spreadsheet or data application for further analysis.

Since Solus records data to a memory card, you can just take that card to your computer via any SD card reader and upload the log into the online application. It's simple to use yet super powerful.

Multi-Use Display

Solus utilizes a fast-response, full color touch screen to display the exact readings from each sensor. See everything in one view - on a timeline. An easy-to-use touch screen provides access to more features with just a tap or swipe of the screen.

EMF icon

Advanced EMF Meter

Solus is equipped with an advanced EMF sensor that detects even the slightest changes in the electromagnetic field yet fortified from interference. The display shows you an exact reading of the EMF strength in addition to a live reading on the timeline graph.

An audible tone signals each spike, giving you immediate alerts on potential paranormal activity. Theories within the ghost hunting field suggest that these spikes may signify activity or communication from spirits on the other side. Given that, the use of sensitive and reliable EMF detection during an investigation is important to document. The speaker can be turned on/off as you desire.

Engineered for Paranormal Integrity and Fortified from Interference

Unlike other EMF meters, Solus is less prone to interference from stray radio signals of some everyday electronic devices like cell phone signals and walkie-talkies. Solus hones in on natural magnetic energy, providing accurate and reliable readings for serious investigations. However, it's ability to detect strong electronic frequencies helps you identify potential EMF sources in your environment.

Solus looks more at 'natural' magnetic energy, like most of our other GhostStop products. This is intended to help rule out commonly-intrusive frequencies to aid in ensuring the readings we get are quality evidence.

Temperature icon

Ambient Thermometer

Solus contains an ambient temperature sensor with a real-time display. There is an external probe and air vents along each side of the device to promote quick detection through free movement of air along the sensor. In addition to the readout there are LED light indicators that light to alert you to spikes or drops in temperature. The unit of measurement can be switched to display Fahrenheit or Celsius.

vibration icon

Vibration Sensor

The Solus detects both full motion and vibration. Using a highly sensitive built-in accelerometer Solus is tasked with picking up tilt movement as well as taps on the unit while displaying the results on a graph. This is perfect for documenting any unexplained physical disturbances during an investigation.

Built for Coolness and Function with Real Investigators in Mind

Sure, it looks rad. Beyond that, Solus is designed with comfort, durability, and usability in mind. The sturdy hard-shell exterior, ergonomic design, and full-color touchscreen make it ideal for both handheld and mounted use. The built-in tripod mount offers versatile placement options, and the top indicator lights flash white and emit sound alerts for immediate awareness of any paranormal activity.

As long-time investigators ourselves, we put a lot of thought into how we want our tools to function. Indicator lights and sound are intended to catch your attention if you choose to place Solus further from you in a room. The top lighted bar flashes white for spikes and makes an audible tone to alert investigators of a presence.

Theories within the ghost hunting field suggest that ghosts may have the ability to manipulate our environment. That may include energy changes, temperature, tilt motion, vibration and more. As such, it is important for paranormal investigators to detect those changes with precision and review the results with accuracy and context. As such, Solus was born to ensure the integrity of that information and give investigators easy access to precise review of that data.

Solus: The New Standard in Paranormal Investigation

Solus is crafted to help ghost hunters and paranormal investigations uncover the mysteries of the unseen with precision and context. Its superior detection capabilities allow investigators to monitor environmental changes that may signal paranormal events, enabling thorough and scientifically sound investigations.

Explore the unknown with Solus, the most advanced tool for your paranormal investigations.

Flag Sensitivity

Press and swipe either the temperature, EMF or vibration sensitivity buttons from the left (lowest sensivity) to the right (highest sensitivity). While the graph will always show the exact reading for proper data capture, this adjustment allows simply determines at what point the Spike Flag will trigger an alert.

We suggest starting the sensivity low to start with. Set it down, and see how it reacts. Adjust it up until you reach a point where it is generally quiet in ambient environment. Adjust it a few times to get it where you want it then you're good to go. Keep notice of electronic devices around like fans, air conditioners and appliances that may set it off. They're not a problem, you just might have to adjust to a higher baseline.

You can also test sensitivity by moving a magnet near the top of the device or more it near a motor (like a fan).

Display Settings

  • Temperature Format: Switch from Fahrenheit or Celcius for temperature unit readout
  • Sound: Slide to adjust the volume of audible alert or mute entirely.
  • Brightness: Slide to adjust brightness of the display screen. Lowered brightness may preserve battery life.
  • Date and Time: Press to adjust the date and time which will be used for the data log. Each reading is associated with a timestamp for correlation. To ensure this matches, make sure to adjust the date/time as needed. To adjust the date and time:
    • The currently-set date and time is shown on the Settings page in a gray bar toward the bottom. This format is shown as YYYY-MM-DD, H:M:S.
    • To change this press the center square button to select which item you which to change. The default says 'YEAR'. Press to change to YEAR, MONTH, DAY, HOUR or MINUTE according to which you wish to change.

Directions for Charging

  • Using the USB cable provided, plug it into any standard USB power source. For plugging into a standard wall AC outlet you will need a common AC/USB adapter (not included).
    • Red light near the USB port = Charging
    • Blue light near the USB port = Fully Charged
  • A fully-charged battery will last just over 7 hours under normal conditions.
    • NOTE: Power consuption is highly dependant on how often the sensors are triggered and various settings including brightness and sound. If it is triggering constantly, the battery life is slightly diminished. With that, we recommend making sure to set the sensitivities to a good point where it's only going off for actual spikes. You can use a magnet near the top of the device to test. With this, you'll get 7+ hours of continuous use.
  • Charging takes about 1 hour.
  • For UNLIMITED USE, this device can be used while it's charging via wall outlet or USB battery pack. A USB battery pack is handy so you can use the device and continue charging all while being completely mobile.
