Hydra Multi-Sensor Light Hub
Many heads. One purpose. To watch the unseen.
Introducing HYDRA, a cutting-edge ghost hunting device inspired by the legendary multi-headed beast of myth. Just as the mythical Hydra kept watch with many heads, our HYDRA keeps vigil over the unseen—scanning in multiple directions, waiting to alert with light and signal the presence of the paranormal.
At the core of HYDRA is a powerful central body—an intelligent sensor hub—designed to monitor and detect both electromagnetic field (EMF) fluctuations and motion (tilt and vibration) changes. From this base extend up to five illuminated light strips each armed with sensors at their tips. Like the ever-alert heads of the mythical beast, each strip reaches into a different part of the room, monitoring the environment independently and lighting up with responsive, multi-color lights to indicate detected activity.
Each strip detects and displays:
- EMF changes with growing red light to indicate direction and strength
- Motion or vibration with pulsing green light to indicate direction
- Event markers illuminate at the base
- Connect up to 5 sensor head light strips at once (1 INCLUDED with options for more at checkout above)
The central body, too, is alive with awareness. It houses its own suite of EMF and vibration sensors, along with a ring of indicator lights that glow a soft blue as it scans the space—rotating around like watchful eyes. When a strip is triggered, its corresponding light on the ring will light up white for a period to show you exactly where the energy shift or movement occurred in case you missed it in the moment.
Modular & Adaptable – Use As Many Sensor Heads As You Need
True to its namesake, HYDRA remains powerful and vigilant—even when it loses a head or grows another.
Each of the five sensor heads can be detached and reattached at will. Use all five to monitor a full room, or remove a few to focus detection in specific areas. You can even use just one, or none at all—the main body unit will continue operating independently (even without any heads), detecting both EMF and vibration activity with the same precision and sensitivity.
Many sensors in one epic package!
Each light strip is, essentially, it's own EMF meter and motion sensor. So, with 5 heads connected to the base, you're getting 12 sensors (6 EMF sensors and 6 motion).
This modular flexibility means HYDRA can adapt to any investigation setup:
- Use all five strip and spread them out in a large space for broad coverage
- Concentrate them around a single hotspot
- Use two to make on long line for use in a hallway
- Operate with no heads in compact mode with just the body alone
- Get creative! Wrap the wires around various trigger objects, photos or even... fellow teammates
HYDRA is always watching. Always waiting. Always ready.
Whether it's one head or five, its gaze never wavers.

Whether you’re a professional investigator or someone passionate about exploring the supernatural in a cool way, Hydra is here to illuminate your investigations!
Not just easy to see. It's COOL to see. And simple to setup.
Hydra is easy to put into action – just turn one button and set the sensitivity to get started. Just place the device down on the ground and plug in up to 5 LED wires to the body. Turn the main knob on and adjust the sensitivity as you like then sit back and watch for activity as it goes to work scanning.
The alerting strips are bright and easy to spot. Each wire tip is illuminated to mark each sensor. And the body pulses to indicate it is scanning so you always know where everything is in the dark. The body will also shine bright white light indicating which direction the last activity came from to get your attention, even if you only see it at the corner of your eye. Even once the activity is gone, it marks that "tentacle" for a short time to mark where activity took place giving you time to note when and where it happened.
A slow pulsing blue light circles around the body while 'scanning'. This helps visualize where the wire is for safety in the dark and let's you know the sensors are at work looking for changes. The end of the LED strip is lit red so you can always have your eye on where the wire leads even in total darkness (and where to avoid stepping).
Choose your own encounter. Get creative.
With many uses, we're looking forward to see how creative you get with this. Though the primary use is for the light wires to be placed straight out in all directions from the body for direct correlation with the sensor, you can get creative. For instance, you could wrap the sensor tentacles around a trigger object and ask for an entity to "light it up" by coming near it. Maybe try using it as a Yes/No answer device by asking an entity to move to one side for Yes and the other for No. Use one wire with the device on a chair and see if something walks up to sit down. Or even point one at each investigator and see who the spirits prefer to interact with. We're excited to see what you come up with!
NOTE: Base unit comes with ONE (1) sensor head. Options for additional light wire sensors can be selected above for up to 5 that can be plugged into the base unit. Photos showing more than one wire are for demonstration purposes.

Quick Start Guide
- Place the base unit on a solid surface and stretch out sensor wires. You can also get creative with the sensor placement if you like by wrapping the LED wire around something. They don't have to be straight out.
- Plug in the Sensor Head Wires. Connect each desired sensor head to an appropriate harness on the base unit.
- Turn the device. Turn the top knob clockwise until it clicks on.
- Set the sensitivity. In the first few seconds, turn the same knob to adjust sensitivity. Left-most being LOW sensitivity while rightmost is the HIGH sensitivity in 5 different zones (or color). See illustration below for sensitivity zone settings.
- Let it baseline. Once set to the appropriate color, stand back and let it BASELINE to the environment.
- Watch for changes. Now, it will scan for changes in EMF and vibration on all the connected sensor heads and the base, body unit. A blue circling indicates it is 'scanning' for changes.
Display & Lights
- Normal 'scanning' state with sensors plugged in: In a normal state, while Hydra is looking for environmental changes you will see a blue light circling the top while 'scanning'. The sensor heads will be lit in red so you can spot each sensor.
- Normal 'scanning' state with no sensors plugged in: In a normal state the top ring will pulse blue to indicate it is 'scanning' for changes from baseline.
- Live readings with sensors plugged in: changes from baseline are represented along the LED wire in RED for EMF spikes. A GREEN trace indicates motion or tilt.
- Live readings with no sensors plugged in: the top ring of lights will all illuminate green for life motion changes and red for EMF spikes.
- Event marker with sensors plugged in: WHITE in the center is a designator that something has recently happened on a specific strip. This indicator remains for a few seconds. This is helpful in case you were not staring at the area at the time of the occurrence.
- Event marker with no sensors plugged in: the top ring will illuminate all WHITE to indicate an event has happened. This will stay lit for about 5 seconds.
When you first turn on Hydra, it will immediately check for installed light wires. Immediately upon turning it on, a corresponding zone on the top ring will illuminate blue to indicate it detects a sensor strip on the respective connection. If the matching zone light does not illuminate, check the plug and reconnect.
When reconnecting any light strips, you MUST turn Hydra OFF and back on again so that it can re-assess which strips to look at.
Proper Placement for Best Results
Make sure the base unit sits upright and is on a sturdy surface. Also make sure the sensor heads are on a sturdy surface.
It is best if the sensor heads are also upright. But it's not 100% necessary. The baseline reading at the beginning will note how it's sitting and mark any changes from that initial axis. But you'll want to ensure it's relatively sturdy because any movement will show as a reading.
Hard, flat surfaces are best. Soft surfaces like loose rug or a bed will dampen the sensing. So maybe place a book under the sensors so it can detect vibration.
