Quick Start Directions
Turn the device on using the turning knob located on the front of the device. Turn the knob clockwise to click it on.
Set the Dead Bell in an area you wish to capture changes. Adjust the sensivity using the same power knob on the front. Leftmost (down position right after it clicks on) is the lowest sensivity. Turn clockwise until it reaches the far right for the highest sensivity.
We suggest starting the sensivity low to start with. Set it down, and see how it reacts. Adjust it up until you reach a point where it is generally quiet in ambient environment. Adjust it a few times to get it where you want it then you're good to go. Keep notice of electronic devices around like fans, air conditioners and appliances that may set it off. They're not a problem, you just might have to adjust to a higher baseline.
You can also test sensitivity by moving a magnet near it or moving the bell near a motor (like a fan).
For best results, make sure the Dead Bell is infront of a running video camera that can document any interactions.
Directions for Charging
- Using the USB cable provided, plug it into any standard USB power source. For plugging into a standard wall AC outlet you will need a common AC/USB adapter (not included).
- Red light near the USB port = Charging
- Blue light near the USB port = Fully Charged
- A fully-charged battery will last just over 7 hours under normal conditions.
- NOTE: Power consuption is highly dependant on how often the sensor is triggered. If it is triggering constantly, the battery life is closer to 4 hours. With that, we recommend making sure to set the sensitivity to a good point where it's only going off for actual spikes. You can use a magnet next to the bell to test. With this, you'll get 7+ hours of continuous use.
- Charging takes about 1 hour.
- For UNLIMITED USE, this device can be used while it's charging via wall outlet or USB battery pack. A USB battery pack is handy so you can use the device and continue charging all while being completely mobile.

The Dead Bell is a must have for any paranormal investigators arsenal! This piece of equipment is one of my most active! Since I received it, I have had action in every location I used it! Simple use, and I always ask spirit to tap it once for yes and twice for no. Really easy to use to ask questions with. Great job Ghost Stop! The Deadbell
Absolutely one of the best trigger pieces out there. I just bought the new model with mahogany to keep at home with my haunted dolls. The older model will be used while doing research work. We work around 18 spirits that roam on mine and my neighbor's property. They are all from the 1800s and readily warm up to the deadbell. I use it with the spirits from the dolls to. I use the deadbell in conjunction with the spirit candle. The spirits really dig that.

We took this to the Monroe House. The bell went off alot upstairs. In the stair well it went off quite a bit. It also went off a couple times in the front room beside the theater room. It was all different between different spots at the same setting. We barely had the setting turned up past turning it on. I'm happy I added it to our collection.

The Dead Bell! It is an awesome piece of equipment. It's inaugural use was at an investigation we were hosting for the Oregon Ghost Conference. Approximately 150 people witnessed what it can do that night. Everyone was amazed. We have used it on several more investigations and it never fails to impress. Trigger object and emf in one
I thought this bell was silly then I saw other investigators loving it so I bought it. It has become something I love! You really need to turn the sensitivity down or else it will haunt you in your dreams. We use it a lot for playing cards (ring once for hit and twice for stay). We have found it to be incredibly good on investigations.

Better than I expected
I purchased this item for an investigation I was doing in an old hotel. It exceeded my expectations. The quality was good and I had great interaction with spirit while using it in my home. Easy for spirit to answer 'ring once for yes, twice for no' type questions. I was able to get one to spell out their first name. I look forward to taking it with me to other locations.

I purchased this item after seeing a few Paranormal Investigators using it. When it arrived, it was fully charged which I thought was fantastic. I took it on an investigation I was attending that same night, and it was being used by the Spirits all night. Even used it to ask questions (1 ring for yes, 2 for no) every time answering the questions with the yes/no answers. I highly recommend this item
